What is Iriko?

【Light Dashi Broth (Basic Style)】
Place one dashi broth packet in a pot with 500ml (about 17 fl oz) of water. Gently stir the packet with chopsticks about five times. Once the water comes to a boil, reduce to medium heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Then remove the packet.
This light dashi broth is ideal for miso soup, ramen, and other dishes where the broth is enjoyed as part of the meal.
