Learn How to Use Our Dashi Packet

【Light Dashi Broth (Basic Style)】

Place one dashi packet in a pot with 400ml (1.4 fl oz) of water. Gently stir the packet with chopsticks about five times. Once the water begins to boil, reduce to medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Then remove the packet.

This dashi broth can be used in dishes such as minestrone and curry, and goes exceptionally well with cheese and cream.

【Tear Open the Dashi Broth Packet and Use】

Tear open the packet and add the contents directly to pasta, quiche, sauces, stir-fries, rice dishes, or even as a seasoning for meat or fried foods. It pairs especially well with cheese and cream-based dishes, instantly boosting umami flavor.
