【Light Dashi Broth (Basic Style)】
Place one dashi packet in a pot with 500ml (about 17 fl oz) of water. Gently stir the packet with chopsticks about five times. Once the water begins to boil, reduce to medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Then remove the packet.
【Tear Open the Dashi Broth Packet and Use】
For added depth of flavor, you can also tear open the packet and use the contents directly in stir-fries, marinades, or stews.
