By combining sweet tasting onions from Awajishima and onions with great fragrance from Hokkaido, this vegetable dashi has a great balance.

How to use

【Basic clear dashi】

Add the dashi pack to a pot with 500 ml of water and swirl the pack around using a pair of chopsticks around 5 times. Bring the liquid to a boil over medium heat and simmer for 5 minutes before removing the dashi pack.

Since you can now extract the rich umami flavors of vegetables quickly and easily, you can shorten your cooking time by using this as a seasoning for soups and stews.

 

【Tearing the dashi pack before using it】

If you tear the dashi pack and add its contents directly to your dishes, you can give an extraordinary boost to the flavors of your dish.
